The future of cinch services
Overview
Create a design vision for our consumer value added products (VAPs), visualising and bringing to live the future experience in a story-led approach for providing customers with an enhanced offering for faff free motoring.
Context
In April 2022, I was promoted to Group Design & Research Director for Constellation Automotive Group, which includes one of the fastest-funded startups in UK history, cinch is the UK’s leading B2C online used car marketplace. During one of the cinch SLT meetings it was clear that conversations around our value added products (VAP’s) were getting lost in translation and all stakeholders seem to have different opinions. I volunteered to assemble a cross-functional team to run a 2 week design sprint in order to understand the problem space in more detail and create a story-led approach to visualise the future design vision for VAP’s that would be played back to the SLT group.
